About Me

My name is Christian Tessmer. I play drums. Giraffes are my favorite animals. I could eat cereal for every meal of the day. I practice 20 hours a week.

I’m a methodical learner who digs accomplishment. My definition of accomplishment: supplying a smile, turning out a track, or just plain turning a page. Lately I’ve been turning pages from these books: Encyclopedia of Double Bass Drumming, Stick Control (second time around), Afro-Cuban Grooves For Bass And Drums.

I enjoy people very much. I savor seeing people chase their dreams. And when those dreams entail creating awesome music, I very much want to be involved. Whether it be creating, rebuilding, recording, or performing, I’m down. My only requirements: awesome people, awesome music, and a little cash so I can eat a turkey sandwich.
